I wanted to share more of the paintings I have been working on while away in England. I should also mention the Wirral Art Festival which was a disappointment. Maybe I will go further in depth about it another time but to sum it up, there was a fair amount of people but not people looking to buy. I was disappointed not to sell anything but I honestly didn’t see anyone buying anything from any of the artists there. Its a pity, I was really looking to leave more paintings in new homes in England.
So as for the new stuff, please find below a few new watercolors. They are in order: The River Anker, A bird study in my sketchbook, Hilbre Island as seen from Red Rocks, An Encroaching Storm from Wales, West Kirby from the dunes and Welsh Mountains as seen from the Isle of Anglesey.
Please enjoy and as always comments are welcome.
